Sneak peek Barcelona

Always want to slowly explore a place, but time flies with light speed when I'm traveling.

Barcelona.

Went there with sister when she visited me, we spent 4 days in Copenhagen, and only 2 days in Barcelona. That's why I need to call this trip a sneak peek of Barcelona.

It's such a warm city, not only the weather, but people there seem so sincerely welcoming, and everything is so different than scandinavia.

Also, of course, Antoni Gaudí made the city different.

Day 1 - Even though the flight wasn't too long, we were a bit tired when we arrived. After settling down in the hotel, we went out for a chillaxing stroll.

I really liked some decorations of the hotel, small details sometimes have big impact ;)

Day 2 - Since it was the only whole day we got, it was fully planned. We spent the morning trying to reach the Parc del Guinardó. A look down above the whole city is just so amazing, it kinda compensated the pity of not being able to explore more parts of the city, we saw everything! … from distance :P

We started to walk down and head back to the city after noon, it was a loooot of walking that day. When we made it to the La Sagrada Família, we realized there was no way to get in because the queue was magnificent… However a hop-on hop-off bus top there did remind us that we wanted to take the bus tour. The bus tour was quite convenient and comprehensive, which made us regret why we didn't take it from the beginning of the day.

Anyhow, saw quite a few more parts of the city on bus.

And at last, in the evening, went to the beach. Luckily we lived close to the beach, but the unlucky part was when we started walking towards it, the weather started to act weird.

So again, I'll have to come back soon ^^
