This was last year, late autumn, I asked Wan for a Louisiana tour with me. It has been more than half year already, time flies indeed.

Long dress is perfect for scandinavian late spring
Anyhow, I finally decided to also post about some of my favorite pieces in my closet. And this will be the first.
It was a bit windy but still a warm sunny day today. I went to meet with a friend at her school, we both need to catch up with some school work apparently :P Sitting together was not really a productive way to get work done, but for what it's worth, it was cozy and nice :)
So here is the set.
Dress: Jersey A-Line dress from & Other Stories
Long necklace: Rhinestone pendant necklace from & Other Stories
Short necklace: gift from mum
Shoes: & Other Stories
Yes I'm a crazy fan of & Other Stories. Definitely more to come.

Experiment 3
So new set of work :)
Sunday evening I met up with Mona as we planned. When I was approaching the meeting place we agreed on, I saw her in a light weighted black dress, which was wafting in the wind, it looked nice.
She was carrying a big bag with quite a few 'props'.
I have only met her once, at a friend's party. Without so much knowledge about her, we had to warm up a bit while we try to explore the area that was gonna be our 'studio'. At last, nature was gonna be the theme.
I thought the warm sunny weather and the lovely nature would fit the girl who told me that one should try to become best friends with oneself.
And summer is coming.

What's it gonna be?
Well, for the 1001 times, I'm still awake at 1:20 even though I planned to sleep before 12.
Yet I still wanna struggle a bit before I go to sleep. This pic has been there for a while, I took it around a month ago. From my window, again, in the late afternoon/evening, there was some rain.
So what's it gonna be? Sunny and rainy, or cloudy and dry?
Or let's just have both :>
Good night owl people.

The Evening Light
My room's window faces north, so I never get to see sunshine in my room in the morning. But I am so glad every evening, that I get to see the gorgeous sunset from my window. You know what is the best way to enjoy it?
You can never get tired of that light, that sky.
With such a good light and reviving leaves on the tree outside, I tried to make a silhouette out of it, but without tripod it was a bit hard. But anyways.
Summer is coming. That's another year.
Night :)

Experiment 2
Ever since I got my first SLR camera I've been thinking about taking some portrait photos rather than landscape, but never get to do it. It has been years.
Been motivated by the weather and some other aspects, I finally carried out this project. Started with some pretty people, easier for practice i suppose :P
Got quite a few more volunteers recently, hopefully will be more photos. Wish I had started this earlier, I'm really liking it :)

I miss the sunshine.
Yesterday was so sunny and nice, after 2 weeks the sun has finally come back.
Scandinavia has the best summer, when it happens. With great care, even though we can not 'break' the good weather, Yue and I went to Amager Strand, the beach on Amager, for a walk, to fully enjoy the delicate good weather. The good weather here, especially in the spring, is like a extremely unstable stubborn kid, changes so fast, and you won't see her sweet face that often. But of course, some years the summer and the sun can be very generous, always warm and shining.
I remember when I was little, I never appreciate the sunshine much, because it was ALWAYS there, for a loooong time every year. But now I feel the tear of joy and extremely touched whenever the sun is shining on the Danish sky :')
Anyhow, the weather was surprisingly good and stable yesterday.
Was wearing too much black for the sunny daytime I think, but they are some of my favorite pieces. Blazer from Zara, small top inside is from & Other stories, my current only favorite brand, and the skirt from Gina. Also LOVE those shoes, from & Other stories.
Please let the rest of May be summery!

Dear Yizhuo, remember Berlin?
It was March 2013, I think, when she and I went to Berlin for a short spontaneous weekend trip.
We've been friends like forever, well, 10 years, and I couldn't believe that was our first trip together. Anyway, we were there for 2 days, walked around quite much.
It was amazing that after so many years we could both end up in Copenhagen, even in the same apartment building, those days were so… comfortable. It was almost like having a family here with me.
She has been away for a few months already, due to some reasons, but should be back after summer. She is one of those 'free spirits' I mention sometimes, always just follow her hearts. So I am afraid, what if she suddenly decide not to come back?
It's funny how things work for us, I consider her as one of my best friends, we were pretty often at each others place when we lived in the same building, but whenever we are apart, we barely, barely talk. But I guess some friends, good friends, don't need to keep talking with each other in order to maintain that relationship. I believe we will meet again soon.
Hope she is well.

Sneak peek Barcelona
Always want to slowly explore a place, but time flies with light speed when I'm traveling.
Barcelona.
Went there with sister when she visited me, we spent 4 days in Copenhagen, and only 2 days in Barcelona. That's why I need to call this trip a sneak peek of Barcelona.
It's such a warm city, not only the weather, but people there seem so sincerely welcoming, and everything is so different than scandinavia.
Also, of course, Antoni Gaudí made the city different.
Day 1 - Even though the flight wasn't too long, we were a bit tired when we arrived. After settling down in the hotel, we went out for a chillaxing stroll.
I really liked some decorations of the hotel, small details sometimes have big impact ;)
Day 2 - Since it was the only whole day we got, it was fully planned. We spent the morning trying to reach the Parc del Guinardó. A look down above the whole city is just so amazing, it kinda compensated the pity of not being able to explore more parts of the city, we saw everything! … from distance :P
We started to walk down and head back to the city after noon, it was a loooot of walking that day. When we made it to the La Sagrada Família, we realized there was no way to get in because the queue was magnificent… However a hop-on hop-off bus top there did remind us that we wanted to take the bus tour. The bus tour was quite convenient and comprehensive, which made us regret why we didn't take it from the beginning of the day.
Anyhow, saw quite a few more parts of the city on bus.
And at last, in the evening, went to the beach. Luckily we lived close to the beach, but the unlucky part was when we started walking towards it, the weather started to act weird.
So again, I'll have to come back soon ^^
